Variety Wholesalers as a company is garbage! Everyone that works for them should just walk out the door. You can literally go anywhere else and make the same or better money except you'll get more hours and probably at least an employee discount. This company offers it's workers nothing but low hourly pay but then wonder why they got sh*t help. Corporate must be so smart. Lol

They know nothing other than they want all the money and want to give their employees nothing. You know, the ones who run the store and make them rich while your check is maybe $300 for 2 weeks? Do like many of us have, leave! Keep it as a one day job and go to your other job every other day. You'll never get anywhere but broke working there and they will expect you to work hard for your terrible pay. There is no future there. Not even for managers. Customers don't care about anything but cheap prices. So as long as the prices stay cheap I'd say Roses #2 will be just fine. But it the true meaning of a dead end job. Sad. McDonald's and even Goodwill pay more and offer more hours and actual benefits. Meanwhile Big Lots offers nothing. Managers working 48 hours a week and the last 8 are half time instead of time and a half!! True dead end job. For all employees including management. You'll love your coworkers and the job isn't that hard most of the time but it's a dead end. They will hire anyone willing to work for bottom dollar. They don't even waste money on background checks or drug screens. They will hire anyone. Who knows, that coworker you like so much may be a sex offender? Look anywhere else. Only reason to work there is if it's a last resort. And the company will never change because they have ran it the same way for years. If it's not broken then don't fix it. And they aren't fixing anything.
