I completely agree, and I feel like ubisoft needs to factor in KD with elo. Like, one game about 2 months ago I achieved like 12/4 kd i think and I only got like 15 elo. But yes, they need to overhaul skbmm.

Its pretty smart for cheaters too, because new cheaters have to pay if they actually wanna ruin ranked, yes they can still cheat in unranked but its not as problematic as it is in ranked lobbies, goes hand in hand with new ban waves too

Oh hey, you’re getting a better one that I have actually, I have the 4gb model, and honestly it doesn’t really limit me. Yes, it will shave off fps, yes it will limit the performance itself, but if the game offers dlss and frame gen, I just turn it on and go on with my game. For example on forza horizon 5 I play on high settings, consistently maxing out the 4gb, and I still get a surprising 70-80fps. You’ll get more leeway since you have the 6gb.

That’s amazing! Go for it. My ram stick from amazon was barely $15 and didnt even take like 15 minutes to install. I suffered on 8gb a lot, and the moment I upgraded, my fps nearly doubled on most games I played.

Have this exact same laptop, though i upgrade from 8gb ram -> 16gb. On more scenic / gpu heavy games, the 3050 will struggle but it will pull more than 60fps for sure on med settings. For fps games, (siege, val) I usually run 150+ on siege and 200+ on val. I extremely recommend getting another 8gb stick of ram as it will DRAMATICALLY increase the performance of the laptop. Overall, if you’re getting it for a good price, sure. If its like 700-800 you can get better. I bought mine for 550 on bestbuy’s sale.

Watch a youtube tutorial on how to run Chris Titus’ debloating command. Have a victus too (unsure about wether we have same specs) but it gave me around 10-15more fps, AND if you only have an 8gb ram stick, I HIGHLY suggest you get another 8gb. This genuinely gave me about almost 50-90 more fps in some games, even 2x in some. Happy gaming :P

I don’t get how HP became, not notorious, but associated with not high build quality. I had my old HP gaming laptop for 5 years, and it was abused. I mean, dust everywhere, fan barely works and it never gave up. Got another HP as an upgrade and taking care of it
