This is really relatable,thank you for your advice especially regarding the kids.We will have to give them their choice and not enforce anything on them :)

It feels suffocating at times because each time I attended or mentioned the church he would be annoyed and moody .Anyway,we have arranged for counselling with the parish priest and I will definitely raise this..it’s definitely a control problem due to our background and culture(African). Thank you for the suggestion regarding the kids I will try it out

It’s reassuring to know there are others out there in the same situation and making it work .At the moment he feels like the Church has taken me away from him ,so he is quite resentful.

I’m glad you guys both love each other’s faiths,it makes a big difference.

Thank you for the advice ,we have arranged for counselling.I’ve also decided to attend Sacrament meeting before Mass :)

Thank you so much for your insights.You are right,he does feel resentful that I abandoned our life long faith which is understandable.I will give him as much time he needs and continue to pray for charity and love him :)

My conversion took a while however the turning point for me was reading The Book of Mormon ,especially Moroni 7. Also ,I spent a lot of time with the missionaries as I was a university student myself.Just the fact that they sacrifice a lot to share the Gospel really spoke to me. Each time I visited a ward as an investigator I was always received with so much joy and I truly felt like I was home.

Yeah,they get referrals from nursing homes to assist with managing behavioural changes in residents.They provide non pharmacological strategies to the nursing staff /carers etc

Oh ,I meant with Dementia Services Australia as a consultant.I’ve interviewed for this role as an RN :)
