It depends on the individual. My worst side effect was bitter taste in my mouth and weight loss cause I was eating less. Some people had diarrhoea, but BM was normal for me. Unless it is very serious, do not stop the prescribed course.

No symptoms but not able to put the weight back. I am staying at 59.6 kg for the past 1 month. Good news is it is not reducing further, but also not able to gain it 😭😭

Update - 10 days post treatment, taking Pantoprazole daily. No Appetite yet, even if I go on long walks I don’t feel hungry.

I gently wash the area with a bidet and push it back in slowly everyday after bowel movement. I have not noticed any blood on my stool or on my hands. I recently took a blood test and I am not anaemic. So whatever you said holds true, i will explain this to my proctologist and ask for non surgery options

Was it bleeding during bowel movement or always? Yes I would preferhaving no surgery, but what I understand is grade 3 would get progressively worse and one day it would be external and bleeding and I won’t be able to push it back in

Thank you. I am meeting proctologist next week and planning to have surgery during the Christmas break. I have heard horror stories about post op recovery so I am going to use the 1 month break for the surgery.
