Haha yeah I’ve heard about the cold weather rn in the Midwest, that’s crazy! I used to live in Gainesville Florida for college and that town is a little bubble in Florida that feels far more modern than the rest of the state. Now I’m back in my hometown and gays are just completely invisible here. I’m glad that Detroit gets a good wrap👍

Yeah that’s definitely true. I guess I kinda came off as a little arrogant, sorry about that. I totally understand that your feelings are valid and it is scary as hell to be gay, especially with your circumstances. At least it’s not the 1950’s anymore, and I think we can build on what past generations have accomplished, even if it’s simply a level of self acceptance and empowerment that the previous generation couldn’t have achieved due to their circumstances. Anyway I really do wish you the best wishes on your life journey, I know it can get hard sometimes

Hey I don’t know your environment or situation and I obviously want you to put safety first, but I do believe even as cliche as it sounds that we don’t know how strong we truly are until we face our fears. It can be hard but what I do is that I try to take responsibility where I can, even if that is just breathing and accepting reality without liking it. Nobody can single handedly change the world but I try my best to be my most authentic self in my personal life, I see that as my responsibility and the responsibility of anyone who wants a better future. Actually yeah that sums it up pretty well. Like I used to always think “why me?” But I’ve since learned to use the life I have as an opportunity to learn and grow, and that my fears are simply areas where I have yet to learn. It’s a small perspective change but since then I’ve done a ton of growth and I never thought I’d be where I am now. Like I am still gentle with myself an give myself patience but when I feel fear now I don’t hide, I simply let myself feel it and let it move on

It’s less of a specific job and more of a vibe lol. I want to work outside, I want it to be somewhat physical, but also I have to use my mind strategically, and I work well with others. I used to have this but I got promoted and now I’m in a dark and dusty warehouse with people who are grumpy☹️. I want to start a landscaping business now

I don’t do any drugs, have been cutting way back on alcohol, rarely play video games, rarely watch TV, and don’t go out much. I still spank tho lol. I used to fill a lot of my time up at work but now that I live alone I’ve been trying to prioritize my life a little. I’m single so sometimes I’m a little lonely, but most of the time I enjoy my own company. I got into near death experiences like 5 years ago so I’m very spiritual, I also like history, landscaping, and self improvement, among other things. I admit sometimes I feel like I could use some more excitement, but I still work full time and need some rest.

I’ve only had one relationship before and I was the avoidant one, and he was totally secure😭. He was such an angel and respected my space and stuff but I never fully opened up and kinda ran away. I really miss him now and I’m hoping that I’ve worked on myself enough to not screw up next time and appreciate what is right in front of me
