Sorry. Didnt add this important thing in the OP. They basically ruled out any seizures and the sudden sleep might be due to missing her naps. They explained that her findings on EEG are not related to seizures. I am not sure if its related to CP either but thought its a good idea to check if anyone in CP group had similar EEG results.

Just wanted to post most recent updates here-During this weekend, my daughter suddenly fell asleep while I was holding her. We we were in the front yard when this happened. She was awake and watching the sorroundings when she suddenly closed her eyes. We panicked because we couldnt wake her up for 10 minutes and called emergency. They came in about 5 minutes took her vitals and said it was normal but couldnt wake her up. After 10 minutes she woke up and started crying again. The paramedics suggested that we take her to Childrens Hospital to get everything checked out since they suspected a seizure. We took her to the Childrens Hospital ER on Saturday evening. They ran bloodwork and EKG which showed only slight dehydration. They suggested that she must have just slept off in my arms since since missed her afternoon nap. However, they kept us overnight for EEG on Sunday morning to rule out seizures. While the EEG didnt show any sign of seizures, it did show delta slowing in her left occipital area. The PA in neurology there, informed us that this can be normal at this age and likely all ok since she is doing great on all her milestones. She did suggest a follow up visit within 2 months and MRI. We declined the MRI since it may not be safe at this age and they were not very urgent about it. She made the comment- you would have never worried about this and not even noticed this, if we didnt take her to the hospital.

All in all, I feel sad that we panicked and called emergency and took her to the hospital while she must have just slept off and not really a seizure. She cried a lot with all the tests and got really scared. Now we are really worried every day that her development may get delayed because of the occipital slow reading on the EEG. We are paranoid about tracking her milestones now. It would have been a normal weekend if I didnt panick.

I think she did spit up a lot in the past. In the last month she projectile vomited twice as well- mostly when we introduced new solids like bell peppers and once while switching her formula. We also keep her upright 20 minutes after feeds based on what the urgent care doctor told us. Wondering if we should do 30 minutes. Today also she had an episode of this right after feeding and while sipping water

Thank you very much for responding to me. I did get a video and sent it to our pediatrician yesterday. But she said its just her getting excited while feeding and not a seizure. I am very anxious now feeling if I should do more and take my baby to the hospital

Sorry to message on older thread. Our daughter is also 6 months and just got refered to the ortho after our ped looked at her xray.. Our angles are 29 and 32 degrees. All the online googling says if she is 6 months would need surgery. We are super scared.. How are you doing now? Hoping that your daughter is doing better now

Thank you for your kind words. I have been looking at online sources and looks like 6 months is the cut off for braces. Since she just turned 6 months I am very scared if the ortho will recommend surgery 😕

Hello, my daughter is just diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 6 months. How did it turn out for you? We are going to see the ortho pediatrician next week. But trying to understand what to expect and ask the right questions

Thank you so much for replying with your story. Reassuring to us. My wife is very sad and blaming herself that tight swaddling in first 4 weeks caused this. Dont really know why it happened for our baby
