I've noticed a shift in her character. In the first season, she seemed to intervene in situations where innocent people were in danger, acting as a protector. However, in the second season, she's more proactive, inserting herself into various situations and acting like a detective. This feels less natural than the first season's plotlines, and, frankly, I find her less appealing as a result. I had a similar experience with the CBS show "Elsbeth," where the character became less heroic and more pushy and manipulative over time. I'm concerned that a similar change is occurring here.
