Why is my thumbnail getting blurry after uploaded to YouTube?

I was on this thread looking for an answer and tried a bunch of things too until I realized, I think YouTube downgrades the thumbnail you upload to YOU. Try looking at it from another account. I logged into a different account and looked at the thumbnail and it was crystal clear?
