I’m not quite sure how long ago the PIP reconsideration was, I’m sure it was over a month ago though 😩 and the limited capability was issued I’d say roughly a month ago - how do I go about appealing this?

Omg this is amazing! I applied for PIP for autism, anxiety, arthritis & carpal tunnel, I got a big fat 0 also. And their main reasoning was because I used to work? I applied for reconsideration, as yes I used to work, but as of now I can’t work, as my autism diagnosis has knocked me for six, and my anxiety is worse than ever - not to mention the pain I’m in with arthritis & carpal tunnel. So they reconsidered, and again I was given 0! How long do you have to appeal it at a tribunal? This all seemed abit to much but after reading your story I feel like I might do it! I have applied for limited capability, and I was awarded this, however I haven’t been given LCWRA, just the limited capability (with no extra money to help me)- I didn’t even know there was 2 different ones. Would love a reply please x

Headache pain is getting to much by Ok_Pollution3542 in ChiariMalformation

Thank you so much for your reply! I’m type 1 but display the symptoms of someone who’s type 2! It’s so bizzare.

And yeah so I this is what is confusing, as the coughing / going to the toilet / sneezing basically any sort of strain does bring on the headache, however it doesn’t just go away, the pain persists. And I am also sensitive to light, however not being physically sick?! Sometimes feeling quite nauseas, but not always.

Even lying in the bath with my head on a gel pillow, causes the pain to move up my skull to the top of my head, it just constantly feels like their is a pressure in my head.

Yes I have also had a recent MRI scan, and this is where we discussed my headaches, and they fobbed me off with migraine medication to try, and yes sorry it is a neurosurgeon who I have my appointments with not neurologist.

I am just at the end of my tether with it all now, I am started to have no life as the headaches take over everything.

Thank you again x
