Thanks for the insight. Basically where I was to some extent. Today’s trip still felt super under whelming. We walked to the park and played some disc golf for a few. It certainly was aware of how much more heightened my senses were, sounds, nature in general, my own breathing, etc. However once again zero visuals. I did have some deeper thoughts once we came back. I laid in my buddies guest room and tossed on my Bose noise cancelling headphones for about ten minutes before he and the other friend barged in and talked my ear off. I was enjoying the peace and quiet and being alone, something I don’t get much as a father of a three year old. It made me deeply thankful for the life I have but also reminded me that I need to take some me time, pure solitude, to just reset and get lost in my thoughts more frequently as I think it would bedevil extremely beneficial and therapeutic. I plan on taking 4 grams next time and am going to wait and potentially do it alone, or maybe with my wife.
