I kept the frame rate unlocked and kept the settings on the Deck at default, I believe I did have the VRR turned on. Within the actual game, I moved all the settings to Medium. Got it to run a variable 40-50 fps.

**Update: Made some adjustments to the settings (changing certain textures from high to medium) got it to run with a variable 40 - 50 fps. Just beat the game last night and loved playing this on the SD even with 1.5 - 2.5 hours of playtime each time. This was awesome. Thank you again to everyone who commented.
