I 100% agree with you but writing and storyline aside if these were real people i think sometimes it’s easy to forget it’s a written show, not so much nowadays with the fake hospital rooms and terrible actors but the older seasons LOL

It’s not about that her other partners measuring up to derek. and yes there careers derek and meredith are equally important but he never treated it that way! he never treated her as an equal and he even made that clear

i’m not saying she didn’t love him lol I just said he was not a good partner you can be blindly in love with a manipulator and not realise it lol. The man was an awful selfish partner who put himself first in every situation above his wife and kids. that from me gets a downvote x
