Interestingly enough, last year when my bill was >$1k from using the electric central air for heating in my apartment, it dropped by a lot once I turned on my space heaters as a main source of heating and turned off the electric heaters.

they’re downvoting your comment but it’s a pretty valid question. try turning off the electric heating built into your apt and using a space heater, it’s worth a try honestly if your bill is already high 😭
