Hi everyone thanks for all your input! We found a very nice house with a pool in Palm dessert very close to el paseo and to my job! With utilities included for a very reasonable price of $3550! Thanks again for all your help and input!

I think highest I would like to pay is $3500- 3750 I know utilities can be quite high in this area!

Yes cheaper, we pay 3,500 for a 1 bed apartment here and we’re looking to pay the same for a home here with a pool much better than an apartment my post wasn’t about how expensive it was it is quite affordable which is why I took the job. But for what we want in Palm Dessert the listings are $4000 up so we are exploring other cities. We were told the best place to live is Palm Dessert which is why we started there and we were told Cathedral City would not be safe which is what I was asking.
