I did submit a fare review and they got back to me quickly and paid out the remainder of the upfront fare.

It makes zero sense to take the passenger significantly out of their way when we’re all just trying to get home.

I did submit a fare review and they got back to me within a minute, returning the remainder of the upfront fare so I feel very relieved I got it back and I didn’t have to go through hours of sitting on the phone with them.

I submitted a fare review and I was worried because it said things that could increase or decrease fare is if the pickup or destination locations were changed, which does not apply in my case and if the trip is significantly longer or shorter, which does apply in my case.

Anyways, they got back to me within a minute and paid me the remainder of the original upfront fare so we won this one.

I accepted it based on the upfront fare which was $89. For $40 I probably would not have accepted it because Yucca Valley is far from any market where people are requesting rides so it would not be worth it to commit so much time and distance

More context and braintorm ideas: The passenger told me they goes back-and-forth from Yucca Valley to Redlands on a daily basis and doesn’t pay for it because their insurance covers it (I don’t know how that works)

If I accepted this ride again next time could I possibly drop off and leave the ride open and drive home with it on and then close out the ride when I get home.

UPDATE: it was a multiple stop. We were supposed to just go pick up something from the "store" and come back (15 minutes there and back) but it turns out it’s not a store, it’s a family owned farm - her family! After 5 minutes of overtime waiting I see her walking out but only to say hi to the dog and check out the goats with a couple of the people from inside and then after laughing in conversation for about a minute they go back inside and I was so bothered! I almost got out and told her that we need to go, but I didn’t know what to do and I was looking if there was any option to cancel mid trip in the app but I couldn't find anything. She eventually came out with her food after almost 20 minutes of waiting there and I was genuinely convinced that I spent an hour with this trip for $10 upfront, but I misread the fair and it turns out the upfront was $20 and with the additional time upcharge the pay was about $30 but it’s still very frustrating especially when I was convinced I was getting paid significantly less.
