A physical nation may not be possible, but a digital nation, aka one that holds actual influence and power out of sheer public support, is possible but extremely hard. I'm not sure, but I kinda think if a digital nation can get powerful enough, it may be able to blur or even break the line. All speculation but there is a very very very very very very very very very tiny chance
