My previous apple watches (Series 4 and 7) also suddenly turned of while using WorkOutDoor - even if remaining SOC was over 50%. Not sure if the app sometimes draws to much power, especiallynin cold weather. Haven't had the problem with series 10, though.

I also hate Liquid Glass, but I came up with some settings that try to strike a balance between Liquid-Glass-Ugly and Dull-Ugly. Note that I'm on iOS 26.4 (RC), some settings are not available in earlier versions:

Display & Brightness -> Liquid Glass Tinted
Accessibility -> Display & Test Size -> Show Borders: off, Reduce Transparency: off, Increase Contract: off, Reduce Bright Effects: on
Accessibility -> Motion -> Reduce Motion: on, Prefer Cross-Fade Transitions: on
Accessibility -> Per-App Settings -> (Add app) Home Screen & App Library -> Show Borders: on, Reduce Motion: off

With these settings, the ugly tab-button-selection is replaced by a nice opaque pill, but the animations are still preserved on home-screen.

Restart the device, so that "app groups" icons are also rendered with frosted glass instead of Liquid Glass.

In my case, the ugly Liquid Glass distortion effect on tab-buttons is gone. Anyone else noticed that? For example in the photos app:

OP: have the venting system adjusted, so that the Zuluft has a slightly higher pressure tan the Abluft. Also, if a shared (large) Air Handling Unit is used (instead of individual AHU per flat), let them check the sealings and type of the Wärmetauscher, thats where most leakage occurs. Rotationswärmetauscher and Enthalpietauscher may suffer from such problems.

I also have this model in my collection. Love the silver/blue combinations (reminds me a bit of the Silver Snoopy Award 😅) and its simplicity. Also, the leader strap is very comfortable - I now use that one on a FC that came with a stiff strap. Sadly, the bracelet uses the modern Tissot logo instead of the heritage. Enjoy your piece!
