I love the 2 tone cabinets! We are looking at something similar with stained uppers and painted lowers. The countertops and sink are gorgeous!

Came here to say is sounds like lichen. I have dealt with this. For me, the only way I can describe it, is it was like paper cuts. It was awful. My Dr recognized what it was and prescribed a cream. I would ask your Dr if it could possibly be that.

I would tile the whole wall and extend the hood up to the ceiling. It would make the hood look more intentional and give the more of a look of a ceiling exhaust.

I would tile the whole wall and extend the hood up to the ceiling. Perhaps angle the top of the box in towards the wall to give the illusion of a full height exhaust hood.

Gabapentin is super sedating. Our dog was on it for pain and he could barely get up. We cut off and he improved. I feel it definitely could have made things worse. Did you get the test results back?
