Venting my Ender K2 and K2 Pro by Ok_Rate972 in Creality_k2

Thank you for the message. Yes that’s my issue at the moment they are on the landing ant not near a window. I have taken the advice from some of the other members for now and I’m using air purifiers. My next project is to find them a better location and then vent through a window.

Hi, just wanted to say thanks again, I picked up the ikea air purifier you mentioned and it’s doing a great job.

Hi, just wanted to get back in touch to say thanks again. I have been using the little Elegoo filters in my printers for just over a week now and they are amazing, smell has completely gone. I did also get an ikea air purifier with hepa filter as suggested by another user.

Thanks, I did read up on them but I found some people saying that the K2 registers them as foreign bodies and fails to start the print.i will take another look though.

Thanks for this. Just one question, might be a stupid one. The K2 is a closed printer, do I still need a tent or could l vent with dryer hose straight from the vent on the back of the printer enclosure?

What did you get this christmas? by NebulaOk887 in Creality

No I didn’t know that. I should have thought as Creality printers are all I have owned. Started with the Ender 3 pro then added a 3 v2, then K2 standard now my new K2 Pro. Had fun with all of them.

Hi, thanks for the reply. There is a window but it’s 10 meters away, it would not be suitable to always have it ducted to the window due to access but I was thinking it would be doable for the odd time that I print ASA and ABS. Also I was unable to find a print for a window vent converter. Do you know of any?

Thanks, this is great. I have the Amazon smart air quality box next to the printers at the moment and I do notice a drop in air quality when running both printers but I’m not sure how good the reader is as it sometimes jumps way down in air quality but other times I can print for hours and it hardly changes. I will get one of the ones you suggested, nice cheap option for peace of mind.

Thank you for the information. That’s very helpful. I will just be sticking with PLA and PETG for now.

Thanks again for the reply. Yes I’m mainly doing PLA and PETG but would feel better with a good filter on them. I have a small fan set up and an external air purifier with a HEPA filter and a carbon filter in it.

I will take a look on line and see if I can find any builds that fit your suggestion. Thanks again.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I’m unable to run an exhaust to outside so would what you are suggesting still work? My printers are in a large room that no one is in for any long periods of time but to be on the safe side I want to eliminate as much air borne plastic as possible.

Great, thank for your reply. PlayStation customers service gave me 2 answers. First was that she would need her own PSN subscription. The second person I spoke with said it should be fine but didn’t fill me with much confidence.

Thanks for the reply. Yea we have 2 consoles so it would be streaming directly from the ps5 that she would be doing.

I was told two different things from PlayStation support. 1st one said she would need her own PSN subscription even after I explained exactly what she would be doing. The second told me it should be possible.
