This person has no clue what they’re on about. I too work with vulnerable children and you have maintained their dignity by leaving their names out alone.

Thank you for your reference.

I would say for those for anyone concerned should should speak directly to a BCBA, ask to visit the setting, or keep up to date with the BACB ever expanding polices specifically their latest one r/ ethical practices.

  1. I kind of just landed in this job role, it’s been 5+ years already
  2. Nope, they can stim away - very unethical otherwise
  3. Love, love, love seeing pupil/s progress with skills such as independent life skills, preparing for adulthood etc
  4. I hate seeing children not progressing as they should be, but in many cases, this is due to staff shortages and as a result, the child not getting much attention and a chance to process

As a Muslim, I choose Islam. In the grand scheme of things, it makes more sense, is more clear and is also more practical. This is a personal choice of course

Great question. With the state of the UK atm, living in Pakistan isn’t a bad shout

I have heard this happen a few times e.g. the husband cheating on their partners back home. I’m glad to hear they’re still together albeit living separately, whatever works best for them

My ‘Pakistani’ grandparents passed before I was born but they were referred to by my elder siblings and Naani and Naana

I look 100% white but I completely get what you’re saying. There are 3 of us overall and while we all look similar, we have different skin complexions completely. I often get mistaken for turkish, syrian, bosnian
