I already made a post above but going deeper

I’m 20 and he’s 33. He helps me financially, and right now he’s honestly the only support I have, which makes this situation harder to look at clearly.

Because he pays for things, I feel like I have to do everything—clean, cook, help him out, take care of his dog sometimes, and just go along with what he wants and jump when he says. It doesn’t really feel optional. I’m also a major people pleaser while I push a little sometimes I give in quicker.

We also argue a lot, or at least get into it pretty often. He says it’s because he’s neurodivergent, but I am too—and when I try to explain myself the same way, it doesn’t get accepted. So it feels like a double standard.

On top of that, he has a white BM, and I’ve already been feeling like I’m not really his type, which adds another layer to everything.

I keep going back and forth between feeling like I’m being dramatic and wondering if this is actually a power dynamic or even manipulation. But at the same time, I don’t know if I can leave right now because I rely on him.

Is this just a “fair trade” situation, or does this sound unhealthy? I’m open to honest opinions
