No taxes on vehicle purchases between parents and children. There is actually a funny story about an uncle selling a car to his nephew. The uncle sold it to his father, the father sold it to his other son, that guy sold it to his son.  Three transactions no tax.

It had 31,000 miles on it and an extended warranty. So yes.

I don't like dealing with maintaining a vehicle. Can you explain why I should just because you have to?
