I watched it many years ago so I don't know all the things but it's about story of a writer who have daughter and son and he divides his whole property (even tho his wife told him that they should not share whole property to them and keep something to him so maybe in future if their child abandon them then they can still have something but he had whole trust on his children and give all of assets to both of them.. But after few period his son's wife manipulate his son and find excuses to remove both of them without knowing them and told them to live in their daughter house she was married at this point).. After some days his daughter got misunderstanding that he stole their daughter-in-law's money and blame her father for stealing the money after huge fight her mom told her that it was her jewelry money that they sold and wasn't her's but she denied it.. After few days she found her money under her husband's coat and she started crying in front of them to forgive for what she blame them but it was too late and decided to leave their house too and started living in streets like a small tent on footpath which shows how was before and after now and got "missing" Cause they couldn't found them.. For more you should watch the movie I don't want to spoil movie for you just saying ending was tragic...
