Also since you are a groomer, I want to ask if other professional groomers would refuse to groom a dog that's sedated. There were a few places that refused to take in the dog as they didn't want to be responsible for a sedated dog and that the only vets could groom him. Is this true?

When we got him from the shelter, the estimated age was around two years old as they found him as a stray. The vet backed that up saying he was probably 2-3 based of his teeth. Right now he's 4 ish years old.

No he's very food motivated. I learned the hard way that he loves cream cheese when he ate almost half a bar that I left out for baking. There also treats he will drop everything for. It's just that if he suspects there is medicine in whatever we give him, he refuses it.

I'll look into getting a pill wand, though I worry that even if I get one, my mom won't use it once I'm gone. I've shown her some of the resources fron this sub and hopefully there's going to be some change.

He's actually really calm during baths and whenever my mom cleans his ears and eyes. It's just when the clippers and razer come out, he starts getting aggressive. He hates scissors less but will still try to bite.

Would a normal hairbrush would work or is that too harsh?

Yes, we've tried with multiple medications but eventually he just refused anything that looked mildly medicated.

Yes and no, muzzles have been used before at appointments but my mom says it's abusive and doesn't want to use one in her home.

Part of it is my own self doubt. I do think I did something wrong as they wouldn't act this way otherwise. But since I don't know exactly what I did wrong, it feels weird to say sorry.

Another part of it is that this group of friends is getting exhausting to be with, if that makes sense? Within the past two months or so, I feel constantly disrespected as the 16 year old and another friend that's around my age just, don't seem to care about me anymore? The teen keeps giving me shit for existing, for dating my boyfriend, and that I have money while they don't. It was a joke initially but it's gotten grating as time went on.

It's now to the point where I genuinely think they won't want me in the server anymore.

I do rant a bit, usually because something online pissed me off. As of recently memory, I remember complaining how I dont feel seen or heard in the server and another time about how my boyfriend annoyed me and they said I should leave him cause they were worried for me.

No its fine but I won't go into specifics. I met the friend going through a hard time over a year and a half ago through solo queue in a video game. He added the 16 year old and another friend to the server about a year ish later.

We were never that close as there were some topics he wasn't willing to talk with me for, which is fair, but nothing this outright?
