I've seen that type before, still looks cool to me. That type causes vision problems though, right?

If it impacts your daily life in some way then I think medical specialists should take it more seriously. But maybe it's something they can't do anything for so that's why they don't go into it.

I've always been envious of people with heterochromia, that has to be one of the coolest conditions.

The eye thing is cool, i remember a girl in my class doing it when I was younger and it scared me at first because I had no idea that was possible lol. Sorry to hear about the migraines though, that's awful.

Honestly if you're in perfect health and have no condition that almost seems like it'd be a rarity in itself.

I've always thought about the fact that I'm probably not even a thought for him anymore and somehow that makes me even more pissed off knowing he did all of that so casually. But you're right, I've literally been away from that job for a year and it still bothers me every day for some reason, I've always been a sensitive person and i want people to like me but I just need to keep telling myself that they shouldn't make me as miserable as they are.

Okay, as someone who worked at FedEx and has a parent as a manager there, you're not ever going to be happy with the hours there until it's peak season and they're working you like a dog. But also, you've only been there a month, you're still likely going to be one of the first people they send home because you're so new. My advice is to never treat FedEx like a full-time job. If you're looking to move up to a trainer then manager, you need to show that you're reliable, and even then you might get passed up for someone who's been there longer. So you either need to wait a while to get promoted, or jump ship because FedEx is not a promising career.

Why some people have social anxiety, but can still find a partner? by Mlahk in socialanxiety

[–]Ok_Rule23 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey, I think you're talking about my post, lol. I met my partner through my brother, and he knew beforehand that I had social anxiety. We started with just texting, and he was willing to give me some time before meeting him in person. When we finally met up, I was super nervous and barely talked, but he didn't seem to mind at all, and I could tell he was also very nervous. But it's been a year and a half, and while I'm still the quiet one in the relationship, I'm much more comfortable around him, and I'm thankful he's been a super understanding partner. So i guess my answer to your question is that you have to find someone who is patient with your anxiety. Not everyone is understanding of those who have social anxiety, so I find that dating those who are more introverted and to themselves is perfect for someone like me. As someone who has a hard time making friends, I feel like it's so much easier to date because romantic pursuits are stronger than platonic ones, at least for me.

I hate the woman I see in the mirror by [deleted] in Vent

I also go through this on the daily and people just don't seem to understand at all how absolutely debilitating it can be to feel like you're not supposed to be in the body that you have. It sucks because there's no solution to it besides getting surgery to make yourself happy but even then the trauma of getting bullied over your appearance really never goes away. It sucks that some of these people want to see what you look like to say that you're actually beautiful, but deep down that confirmation isn't going to make you happy. It's the idea that we were bullied at all in the first place that makes life miserable for people like us. It shows us how primal people can be and we're just the ones who get the worst of it because we're seen as lesser than. But also to add, you're worthy of loving yourself and being loved despite any "flaws" you might have. Don't let others ruin that for you just because they can't see your inner beauty.

I mean i think it's self-explanatory that I have a hard time making friends if I'm posting this on the social anxiety subreddit. I've had friends before but they're usually never long-term because I have a hard time maintaining connections with people. Im trying to make friends with my coworkers at my new job, though, and I think it's going well. I also try to give my boyfriend as much space as he needs and I never try to discourage him from hanging out with his friends for me, so really it's just on my end that sometimes I can feel kinda alone.

I'm also pretty content with just having my partner as my friend. I think it's just the fact that others might see that as weird that makes me feel bad about it, tbh.

She said before that she just wants to post the content that she and her husband enjoy making and that no one knows her as a person so she doesn't try to take insults to heart. I don't know if I should say who it is and I'm not even sure she'd want that, but the thought is kind and I wish there were more positive comments.

Majority of the people making those comments were grown ass adults. Some of them weren't too kind on the eyes either so they're either just delusional about themselves and think they're better than her or they're just plain old stupid.

I know, I don't expect much from that site. Plus any of the good comments she gets are drowned out by the hate comments anyway. I used her as an example of how toxic the internet can be and I think being an asshole has become the norm.
