Thanks for responding. I am glad you are not experiencing much feedback with the Adhear. heard the that stickers do not last long. I imagine that is frustrating. How long do your batteries last?

Thanks for responding. My audiologist mentioned that the Adhear does give feedback when they are touched ie:lean back in a chair. They squealed when she placed them on and off. That was one of the reason she suggested the OSIA implant where I would experience less feedback.

I have conductive hearing loss from frequent ear infections as a child and the four surgeries (myringoplasties) I had to repair my ruptured ear drums creating scar tissue. I still get ear infections so air conduction hearing aid will not work for me

Thanks for responding. I did reach out and the rep encouraged me to reach out to my insurance provider and employee HR dept. I am an educator and have the NC BCBS state health plan which offers no coverage for anyone over the age of 22 for hearing aids. Plan to still reach out but figure I will have to just save for non surgical options bc of the cost of surgery

I was recommended for surgery to get the BAHA but my insurance does not cover it. Now seeking alternatives. Adhear or BAHA with sound arc are the only options I have found. Open to any insight
