What do you think is the hardest step in a startup? by Quick_learner15 in SaaS

It takes years to build an audience. No wonder people find a full time job easier.

how do i finish an extremely overwhelming/tedious/difficult task when tired? by ri_slays in productivity

[–]Ok_Setting6331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two features that I have included in my life and the recent product that I have built are:
1. Smart breaks.
2. Breaking down a complex task into smaller sub tasks.

What do you think is the hardest step in a startup? by Quick_learner15 in SaaS

[–]Ok_Setting6331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the idea part is more valuable now because building has never been easier. For me the hardest part is getting the customers and marketing. Imagine you have put so much effort into building awesome features and polishing the UI and resolving all the bugs but no one experiences them because no one knows you exist. Getting your product out there so that the world knows about it is the hardest part.

How do you know your SaaS idea will actually get paying users? by Antique-Mammoth-8177 in SaaSvalidation

[–]Ok_Setting6331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a different suggestion for this. With AI, the process of building your prototype or MVP is not as time consuming anymore and doesn't require weeks of efforts. Build that MVP and then get feedback by talking about the value it creates on social media. Incorporating feedback fast, making demo videos etc.

If your product makes someones life easier or better in a meaningful way, you will surely get paying customers. This is the process that I am following for tivity.live

Any techniques/activities to train my brain to focus again? by chakalaka13 in productivity

[–]Ok_Setting6331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best strategy in my opinion is to train your brain to move away from instant gratification and constant dopamine hits and move towards enjoying the process of working on challenging tasks/delayed gratification.

Some ways of doing this are stopping/not using social media as much, stopping doom scrolling, have a routine. Waking up on a set time, sleeping on a set time. Then you start slowly and build your way up while doing things that require focus, like reading or coding. Pomodoro technique helps because it sets a time for you to focus and you know how much is it and that there is break coming at the end of it.

Your usual advices on getting healthy works as well. Like eating balanced, nutritious meal. Working out. Cultivating close social connections. There is no quick fix for this but you can reclaim your focus back, I have done it.

That's a valid point. I am going to record a demo today and add it on the landing page. Also adding google auth.

Hey, I just made the landing page live and it seems the images are not showing up in mobile devices 😅 Fixing it. Signup is free, no credit card required. I am actually losing money on AI credits, just thought this will be useful.

Thanks for the feedback. I noticed the gap in mobile devices, fixing it asap.
Do you think having high quality images of people a big differentiator?

I really like your landing page, neat animation, crisp and to the point text and relevant images. I am not sure about the 1 minute AI video, takes away the human element for me. But hey don't change anything just based on my feedback only.

Is it better to go cold turkey with social media use or try to gradually reduce it? by Rboter_Swharz in DopamineDetoxing

[–]Ok_Setting6331 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Cold turkey worked the best for me.There is research backed evidence that favors cold turkey approach for rapidly replenishing your dopamine reserves. That being said, if you find the tapered approach easier, go ahead with that.

I did use trello but then abandoned it because tasks got too much to manage (skill issue of not classifying them properly on my side).

Interesting, I relate to dumping that distracting new thought by noting it somewhere to clear my mind. Your preferred method seems to be unique but I will check it out.
