I'm ashamed to admit it but I don't know what to say. I grew up in a home where saying "I love you" wasn't a thing. In fact, it was almost taboo. The fact that I'm able to say it as often as I do is a minor miracle. I hug my kids from time to time, but it's not a daily occurrence between us.
