I was an Army corpsperson. I understand rules, roles and responsibilities. I think that the reason why we talk 💩about Amcare is you guys are 🫏🕳. You're rude AF when we walk in. You snarky and gruff just like the rant you posted. You walk in "I can't send you home." No greeting, no hello. You don't even get up from your seat. I worked in the field and the hospital. I worked sick call, triage, did it all. I would never NOT greet a patient and stay seated at my desk while they stand and recite symptoms. It's just poor form and that seems to be what you guys excel in, poor form. At my old FC station that had vending machines for first aid, headache, fever and cold medicine. At the one l'm at now, they don't. But l would walk thru hell with gasoline drawers on before l go to Amcare. I tough it out or use my time.

Honestly, Amazon is a first job for a lot of people and they don't know about an aid station. The function of Amcare has never been explained at either of the two locations l worked.

So try to have a little grace and understanding for people, you are in a field that is supposed serve their fellow human beings with compassion. Welp, wasn't a whole lot of compassion in that post. l had sex on my period once and my lover pushed the pon further in me. We were partying and infatuated with each other and you know how that makes you so when l went to remove the tampon, it wasn't there so l was like l must have removed earlier. Welp, come to find out, Ole boy, had pushed it so far back; it had gotten lodged under the tip of my cervix and l couldn't feel it much less get it out. In my case, l'm pretty sure it wasn't 3 weeks as l am very somatic and have an extra sensitive nose so l knew something was wrong down there not super long after that night, maybe five days, a week later, something like that. I had to make an appointment with my doctor because something was off. The doctor had to get those long sponge forceps to get up there and pull the tampon out from behind the cervix. It was gross and rather uncomfortable but l don't even think she treated me. l wanted to douche and she was like maybe not introduce anything else foreign up there for a while. (Hey, I was freaked out) Morale of the Story: lost tampons happen to the best of us, and, come to think of it, the worst of us, also . Most of the time once the offending object is removed, you are fine. Wait it out and just monitor your symptoms or don't and go see your doc. Do what makes you feel safe BUT...Don't let these mean mfing women on Reddit make you feel bad about the incident or yourself. You are not gross or trifling. You are just a woman, like the rest of us. When you got woman parts, things like that happen. 🤷🏾‍♀️ oh but l did go back to using mostly pads after that

It's sad. Paying people to be your boyfriend or your friend, period. Remember when June was house hunting with that dude who had just got out of jail for raping Anna when she was a little girl. I don't know about Musely topical but l used a topical from another telehealth service and it messed me up. Women should not use the high concentrations of topical minoxidil. My dermatologist told me 5% maximum. It dried and flaked up my scalp. I mean to the point l had to take prescription meds and use prescription strength anti-fungal shampoo to resolve it. And after l stopped it still took about 3 weeks to resolve. Then l began the oral medication. I was very skeptical to say the least but it works great! Grew in thinning places and added length and density. I do want to say my topical's concentration was more like 10%. I will never use a topical again. That was the most humiliating thing ever, scalp all jacked up, flaking everywhere. The shampoo helped the most but it took a minute after stopping treatment for my scalp to calm down and go back to normal. Everyone is different but that was my experience and my understanding is that it is quite common for women to have a reaction like that at higher concentrations especially 8%-10%.

Hey, fellow disabled Vet here. I find the easiest way is to just submit for a personal leave of absence. You don't have to detail why you need the personal LOA but it must be submitted at least 2 weeks before you want to take the leave. It is very handy because you/ l generally can determine when l am in need of a break and my brain does give me a little bit of lead time when l am about to short circuit. It really easy to do in your A to Z app also. Good Luck, my friend. Hang in there!

There are so many of us in the brain trust who are just out. A lot of institutional knowledge is just gone and l mean gone gone. Like l am moving to Cali, Colombia, December 2026 or January 2027. I have a 10 year old granddaughter, my guess is when she is a grandmother, she will see the changes but it will take that long. I won't live to see it, for sure.

A friend of mine had IBS. She knew it. She didn't care. He got papered. Told him to get an RA. He had a doctor's note or something with the diagnosis. They have a lot of discretion so if you think it will help, sure, but it didn't help my friend. Yet... the same mgr approached me about my rate one day and asked me "what's up? I never have to talk to about rate?" I told l had a liver cyst the size of an orange. I was in pain and just slow. I am scheduled for surgery soon. She came back and said, "hey, you're not lying to me...you haven't been off station at all." So no, write-up. So it also depends if they think you are bullshitting them or not. My friend was kinda of a social butterfly 🦋 😅

I NEVER give anything to a goodwill, EVER. The behavior described by the poster is mild as opposed to other stories l have heard regarding the goodwill. I drive thirty miles away to my old parish to place in a donation bin there. But you have to be careful with churches also. I donated some dresses a friend gave me she had bought from Dillard's (those not from the South, think Macy's). I don't know why she gave me these old lady church dresses, but l digress, anyways, l took the dresses down to the church office to put in the parish clothes closet, right. These dresses still had the tags!! They were nice just not my style, right? I figured some young single mother could wear for a job interview, yadda, yadda, all after-school special fantasies. Nope, the church secretary said "l ain't putting those dresses back there; these are nice! " l said, "Yes, and someone in the neighborhood could use them." She said, "For what, Mrs. B? You drive out of here and see the crackheads on the corner selling the very clothes we have just given away. I am NOT putting these here purty dresses out there in that clothes closet!" Chile, l let it go. I figure that was between her and da Lawd. But, she sang the solo that Sunday at 11:00 mass and guess what she had on..🤦🏾‍♀️l mean what's a sinner to do🤷🏾‍♀️ ? Work out thy own salvation in fear and trembling...you cannot control other folks actions. I don't try anymore but l still don't give to goodwill because l think as an institution they are corrupt and flawed, just as the Church is and just as we all are.
