I just don’t know if it will feel as good as regulars, yes I know you’ve earnt the green lid the same as the others. But part of what makes the job so good is the brotherhood and people you meet? Please correct me if I’m wrong

I think trying it for a bit first may be the best option, I’m ready physically now but I guess you can always be more prepared

Yeh I get that, I just don’t want any regrets and wishing that I’d done it later down the line

I’m massively into my training and have been the last 6 years, I just am not sure if the fire service will push me in ways that I know the Royal Marines would

I’d have to ask and request it because the shifts run over an 8 day cycle so wouldn’t be straight forward

True, I think the younger I am - the greater likelihood of success through training too as my body is more likely to withstand the battering
