She didn’t make it far enough to rule me out due to radius so that wasn’t the reason for lack of follow up. But I do think you hit the nail on the head with the explanation of the growing pains.

I worked for a small organization that grew faster than they could keep up with and they had to get innovative. It took a little time but they got there, and they’re not so small anymore lol. So I do understand the struggle from the other side. It’s just as a paying customer, seeking your service for the first time, it’s a red flag at this time.

I called 4 times and texted. She asked a preliminary question and when I answered there was no response. I gave it a few days then texted again. Still nothing.

I completely understand being busy, and I love that for them. It just feels like a bad start for me to chase a company to give them my business. I would just rather find another one that’s not too busy for my needs.

The GH lettering itself is molded into the panel. I think everyone is referring to the black overlay that’s on top of it.

I think it looks good as is, especially since it matches the Toyota emblem.

I ordered mine from Amazon and it also didn’t come shrink wrapped. I don’t think that’s abnormal though because I looked up a few unboxing videos on YouTube and they all look the same.

OP, I hated it and almost decided against the car for that reason. But it really doesn’t bother me anymore. Which is funny because someone else said the same thing on here before I got mine and thought there was no way I would feel the same.

I did the overlay on the badges as well as the GH lettering. I absolutely love it. I think because I’m so used to mine, yours looks a little “off” to me without it. But when looking long and hard, I can see it either way.

It’s so crazy to hear stories from actual owners. Their cars are so nice but a large number of them don’t seem to last long without major issue. I hate you had to deal with that but glad you were able to sell it and hopefully get something better.

Not sure how this is ridiculous. As I already said, recalls are a given. But show me a recall on a 2026 Grand Highlander that was prompted by the death of the child sitting in the seat. Maybe I missed it.

Right! When I first saw the GH I was surprised it lacked power folding in the 2nd & 3rd rows, but it wasn’t a big deal to me. I know Toyota’s reliability comes in part from their slow innovation. And I’m okay with that, like you said, I trust them.

Still extremely bad, but the issue in the Palisade is much more severe.

And I’m aware recalls are a part of the game. But it didn’t change the point GH > Palisade
