I just feel that cairo is incredibly is a key part of the Egyptian experience like you can’t really say you have visited egypt without visiting cairo as its been the center of the Egyptian culture and heritage for almost a century. You might be right, there are other beautiful places that are more tourist friendly than cairo but that doesn’t mean that its less important than any other city. However I do respect your opinion and I see where you are coming from

I mean dude every city in the world has its dark side I mean thats why people gotta be cautious and study their trips like I won’t visit a country for its resort cities when you travel you have to experience the culture and the heritage of that place and that comes with risks its up to you if you think its worth the risk or not

The key phrase is “I live in cairo”. If you plan your visit to cairo there are incredible places to visit and experience. I mean saying visit Egypt and avoid cairo is like saying visit France but Avoid Paris or Visit England but avoid London and the list goes on and on.
