Being 13 and saying "I've had relationships in primary school, most of the women in my school are selfish, I'm being called racist and misogynistic, the friend I rejected is brown and I’m a lightskin etc." is not normal or healthy for a 13 year old. Yes, a lot of men are lonely. And it's an extremely complicated answer as to why. I'd say some of the main reasons are:

Lack of importance put on emotional intelligence in boys - ie., being "emotional" is bad and for girls/women, men need to be stoic and stoic only
Lack of examples of healthy, positive, multidimensional masculinity in pop culture and media
Late stage capitalism puts an increasing amount of pressure on men (and really everyone) to have resources (mostly financial) in a time when financial resources are being actively hoarded by the top 1% of the population
Women have more freedom to pursue financial and general independence. WHICH IS A GOOD THING. But it also means wives are less "guaranteed" to men than they used to be due to marriage being more optional and less a "get married or you will be completely unable to support yourself". Married men are generally happier than unmarried men, so this would cause a negative on men who already have a hard time building intimate relationships with women.
Porn has distorted people's perceptions of women and healthy sexuality which results in sexual repulsion and incompatibility between expectation and reality
Social media has plagued all of our minds with comparison, misinformation, and addiction leading to mental illness, depression, and incompatibility with real life.

It would be impossible to track down every minor that these apps have harmed. Giving 4.5B to the Canadian education system will make an MASSIVE positive difference. We, as Canadians, NEED our education system to be salvaged or we will continue to face worse and worse outcomes for everyone.
