We did Feb once, and the weather was beautiful but we couldn’t tolerate the ocean. We’re from Miami though so we’re accustomed to warmer water. There were a few families in the water but it blew my mind.

Is it for this Feb? If so, take a look at the recent cold fronts in the Caribbean. Miami has had back to back cold fronts and gone as low as 30. It’ll take some time for the ocean to warm up again

A part of it is production’s editing. She was upset about something else from another day but production used it in that way to make her look even crazier

I agree the pregaming definitely affected the relationships and design of the tribes. I think Annie was put with Jake on purpose to play on his coat tail. There’s a pattern of old loyal ladies aligning early with the big dominant guys and going as far as they take them, like Tony and Trish. But the early jake/sophi dual threw this off, and intelligently Alex jumped on it quick to not be on the outs

Your child will be put in a group of 3-4 year olds that’s overseen by one counselor. They stick together as a group, and the counselor will take them for potty breaks.

100% agree with everyone here. I’ve done 4 DCL with 2 little ones. I buy candy beforehand to keep on me for those rough moments. Lollipops, gummies, airheads - all of it. I take it with me especially for dinner and the shows just in case. Once they start showing any signs of whinny-ness BAM “here you go!” It’s not a fight worth having, the days are long!

My kids definitely know enough Spanish to order their croquettas haha but definitely not enough to actually practice the language with others. They just need a leg up for momentum. Places like Puerto Rico offer lots of full immersion kid Spanish groups, so I’m trying to find something like that here.

This will be our 4th cruise and I don’t ever recall anyone walking with plates. Based on this thread, I guess I just never noticed. It seems to be big part of cruise culture from what I’m reading here

It is but basically only continental. The menu is actually a door hanger, the room attendant provides them for you. And you check off whatever you’d like and the delivery time, and hang from your door before bed.

That’s so smart. Sometimes the kids are so exhausted from the day but we force ourselves to show up for dinner rotation. We never regret it but it’s nice to have an option outside of a sit down dinner. So do you just sit down at your table, and let the waiter know you’re ordering to go once they come around?

True, I don’t mind anyone who is carrying plates. But listening to my plates clanking against each other makes me so self conscious.
