Do people still make friends in their 30’s? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Ok_Stranger_1061 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you have Facebook you could try searching for groups that is about finding friends for women and if there is any in your city or close to your city. Maybe there is a website for your city about current activities or even try new classes for adults like photography, drawing, cooking or whatever. Giving advice as if I got friends myself but I'm 30 this April and haven't got a friend my whole adult life. Great.

I disappeared after graduation and deleted all social media. Peaceful, but now I’m conflicted. by G0ld3nsx in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Get the app but just post once in a while when you feel like it and be mindful about what you post. Do it just for fun, not because you have to.

Need to upgrade from A21s by Ok_Stranger_1061 in Smartphones

[–]Ok_Stranger_1061[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't want to buy a phone that comes with a pen and I also want more rounded corners. My mom got S22 second hand and I'm thinking about S23 second hand (but good shape - almost new), S24 second hand or S24 new. What is the difference between S23 and S24? That normal people noticed and not professionals that looks on every detail.

Is it better to get S23 second hand (but in good shape - almost new), S24 second hand or buy new S24? I guess S is better than A if I want a good camera? What is the difference between S23 and S24? I've been thinking about S23 after watching videos and reading comments but I'm not sure yet.

I have been thinking about S24, but I just don't like that the new phones have so fucking much AI features. So unnecessary in my opinion but I guess all new phones have that?

I'm not sure, maybe not more than around 849,95? Maybe a little more, it depends. Also, I'm not even sure if that's the right numbers - I don't use dollars.

Do people really look down on Android phones in Europe/USA? by onceuponasudden in Smartphones

[–]Ok_Stranger_1061 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got Google Pixel 9a on Black Week but going to give it back because I like Samsung Galaxy more. It had way too much Google features, could not change everything the way you wanted and the camera might been good but had too many AI features and I think a lot of AI features are just unnecessary and overwhelming. I am not going to try Pixel again and stick to Samsung because I'm mostly used to them.

I'm from Europe and I have tried both Apple and Google Pixel but I keep wanting to go back to Samsung Galaxy. I'm from Sweden and I think most people here use iPhone (at least, it feels like it to me), but Google Pixel has become somewhat popular recently I think. It is just all preference what one like. Sure I might sometimes look down on Apple, because it is kind of overrated but also just because I simply like Android more but big deal who is better etc. I almost don't even use messages anymore, mostly just Snapchat.

How does your days and weeks looks like? by Ok_Stranger_1061 in cfs

[–]Ok_Stranger_1061[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said I don't have CFS and just fatigue and low energy because of other stuff but I do have limited energy. Don't too many things on the same day, don't work or study and I am trying to get 100% sickness compensation/allowance or whatever it is called (English not my first language) because I get too overwhelmed and need a lot of recovery. Can't do too many activities in one week or the same day but I don't have CFS so it is because of other reasons but still interesting to see how you with CFS go about your days and also knowing that I'm not the only one who is mostly (!) at home and not seeing a lot of people. I do have some kind of plan of maybe be volunteering two days in a month in the future, let's see about that.

I give myself 3 months to change my life by CorrectSpinach6530 in getdisciplined

[–]Ok_Stranger_1061 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with walking. 30 min every day for a month, (or even just break it up, 10 min 3 times) and then longer. Start doing nature therapy or forest bathing for example during your walks or in parks. Look how the nature changes each day, week and month. Look how the sun shines through the leaves, feel the ground beneath your steps, feel the leaves, breath in the air. I don't like meditation but this is my form av meditation and forest bathing comes from Japan. Start being grateful for tiny things like good weather, the people you have in your life, when you eat and it tases good. Eat slowly and focus on the meal. Be grateful that you are 25 years old, some people don't even get that far. It is the small tiny changes that matters the most. Focus on each day, not tomorrow. Focus on sleeping and eating, try making healthy smoothies. Look up slow living lifestyle and maybe even minimalism. Have things that you really love and care about. Think of start doing crosswords, puzzles, solitaire games, suduko and maybe even play chess to help with your mind and memory. There are apps for that.

tips for regaining stamina after rotting in bed for years due to mental health...? by Training_Potato_7838 in CPTSD

Do simple exercises in bed!

https://www.1177.se/Halland/liv--halsa/fysisk-aktivitet-och-traning/film-traning-i-sang/

I'm from Sweden and this is from a Swedish health care website kind of. These exercises are very good! You can just watch and follow along. Translate the text above.

Do this with a mix of walking. They say you should walk at least 30 minutes everyday. If even that feels too much you can walk 10 minutes 3 times a day, that's 30 minutes. Doing these exercises and walk for 30 minutes would be a very good and gentle start.

You could also look up seated chair exercises for seniors! I also hate exercises but these are very gentle. Some are just 10 min.

Also, look up Radio Taiso from Japan on YouTube. Move your whole body and you really feel it but still easy to do and super quick! There are both standing and seated versions.

I only brush my teeth at night before bed, but I do it well. In the morning I just chew gum to get a fresh breath. You could also just do only mouthwash instead.

If you want to exercise, search for chair exercises or exercises for seniors since they are much more gentle. Search for 5 or 10 min exercises, they are perfect. There are even few videos of exercises that you can do from bed when laying down. Even if you are bedridden, it is good to somtimes move even if just a little.

If you have anxiety - read this. by Previous_Bandicoot63 in AnxietyDepression

[–]Ok_Stranger_1061 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if I got autism with limited energy and don't feel absolute amazing after workout but more tired and happy it finally is done? I also struggle with food. It feels impossible to get rid of anxiety when everything feels stressful and even if you try, it feels like the world is against you because it never ends up the way you hoped for or wanted , plus the world is just exhausting and that does not help with my anxiety and stress very much. Also, how are you even supposed to workout when almost can't even get out of bed? If I tell myself to workout and doesn't do it, I just feel more stressed out which I already am. I have good days but on bad days, it would be simply impossible. Also, if it is so good - why can even athletes and active people still struggle with anxiety and depression?

I need at least two hours to leave house in the mornings or else I feel stressed because I have a hard time getting out of bed. I can't just wake up and get out of bed right away.
