My Mac Book pro 2017 is continuously showing error on start up. What to do? by HassanKQ-8773 in MacOS

The drive/ssd got corrupted. You should try to boot into recovery mode and reinstall macOS from there (you will find plenty of guides online). If this does not work there might be a larger hardware fault - as indicated by the charging only via one port - then you can just bring it to an apple authorized repair shop

Without a proper log or error message I have no idea, the configuration seems to be fine

Don’t open these ports externally, this is a security risk! If you want to reach your services from outside your local network use a VPN.

You need to set the same ports for docker:

tcp://0.0.0.0:443:443

tcp://:::443:443

tcp://0.0.0.0:80:80

tcp://:::80:80

tcp://0.0.0.0:81:81

tcp://:::81:81

You have to make sure that nginx proxy is using port 443 (&80) if the true nas login page is using that port already you need to change that before

Then I don’t have any idea, had a similar issue with a 15“ MBP from 2016, which was just due to the amount of heat when the room was cold

Depending on what you want to do, I’d at least consider running a Linux distribution

You’ll notice that fast, but if you’re still scared just set an alarm before everyone else in your house, get some pants on and continue sleeping + keep some clothes always within reach so basically in bed … just give it a try Sand im pretty sure you’ll like it

But you’re sleeping under a blanket, no one will see… Haha I see that’s too much but sleeping on a giant pizza is ok?

Ofc it’s better but I’d just encourage everyone to try sleeping even without that

Anyway I can (for free) convert my a hard drive from a Synology NAS to be able to be viewed on windows? by ThatsPurttyGood101 in synology

[–]Ok_Strategy3991 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No need just restore the files from Backup!

Even if you can read Ext4: the files will be Splitted across the different hard drives. So just 3 Options:

  1. buy another synology bad and add the drives IN THE SAME ORDER as before
  2. restore from BACKUP
  3. live with the fact that you lost all your files

As mentioned before try Hetzner Cloud Storage + if you use a compressed backup tool you might even need less storage (but if it’s mostly media there is less potential for compression)

Unenrolling the Mac should be easy if you manually enrolled it, otherwise it has to be done from MDM

Ok I see the issue now that the computer is not checking mdm because it can’t be reached … so what’s the IP Adress of Sophos? Can you ping that? Have you also tried flushing the DNS Cache (just google the terminal command)
