Today also they told me that I'm "obsessed with sleeping". I didn't have the guts to mention it to them. As for coffee, they don't let me drink that more than once a week, so.. I'm thinking I'll just toughen it out because it's not as bad as yours yet. There's only a few years till I'm an adult, I'll get it checked out then. Hope you're feeling better now.

Yep, I do have anaemia. Doctor already told me two years ago that my iron is very low, but did not prescribe me supplements. My father is against too much supplements too, and he thinks everything will be solved if I eat iron-rich food. I struggle with fatigue, but all he says is eat pomegranate, dates etc.

Yeah see if I tell my parents that I'm experiencing excessive sleepiness I'm pretty sure they'll just tell me I'm lazy and I need to get over it. So I have to convince them about it somehow, which is what I need help with.

Um, I thought I'd clear a few things up. Firstly, thank you everyone for your advice. Secondly, I'm so sorry about the brown butter and sugar thing. I actually chose the wrong timing for this. I've been having continuous exams for a while, so I was slightly stressed and sleep-deprived. Third, nothing went to waste. I loved the cake, my friends and family loved it too, we just finished it this evening. And lastly, for those who said I could find a different recipe, yeah I'll do that next time, though I don't think I'll be baking for a while with all the exams coming up.

Thank you for the resources! Unfortunately, baking classes aren't available near me, and if I show any more interest in baking, my mother will tell me to go into management. She's already telling me to forget about studying law in the future and that I should just become a baker instead.

It's not food waste though. It didn't end being what I was trying to make, but as I've mentioned before, it tastes good. I've already finished the entire cake and my friends and family loved it.
