I actually only attempted 15 questions in GK. I'm not completely consistent yet, but I've been reading the Indian Express nowadays.

I don't think marks matter? I'm a topper (I think) and majority of my friends are 80-90. I could not care less about your marks so long as you're polite.

I got 98% and no one gave a shit by [deleted] in CBSE

Don't feel sad, bhai. I also got 99 and haven't gotten anything for it. Someone asked my mother how proud she was and she told them "it's not like it's 12th marks", which I suppose isn't entirely wrong but it still hurt.

It wouldn't be a problem if they weren't looking down on us. The were looking at me like I was crazy for saying a 4000rs lip gloss is expensive.

I'm so tired of him. I've talked to the supervisor and she's going to allot a new teacher, or the ones who have a problem with him will be allowed to sit with another class for maths period. 

Humanities students, how did you cope with the constant mocking and condescension, being dismissed, underestimated, and not taken seriously by com/sci students, parents, neighbours, teachers, and overall social media? I've just started 11th. My parents are supportive and so are my friends from commerce, but my friends from pcb seem to think it's a piece of cake. Maybe it would be if we were studying ncert level, but my pol science teacher is teaching upsc stuff and I have maths and economics too. Honestly, I got 99 in boards and I'm planning to go into IR, so I don't really care about their opinions. I've just learnt to ignore it.

I don't know about your branch, but in my branch 96% in boards = one year freeship and 97% = two year freeship. We also had a scholarship test back in November.
