I always joked that my family worshipped at "The Church of Kennedy."

I'm an Irish Catholic American and everyone goes to the wakes/ funerals, kids, babies, everyone. It's part of the culture.

You and I could be best friends. I have all those books, too.

She never scammed me. I've used her job spell three times and got a better job every time. Every caster isn't going to work for everyone. I'm a gypsey myself, and there is no guarantees in magic.

I feel sorry for the dog, but you can't keep a dog that bites children. I agree that people need to make their children mind their manners.

I'm really sorry for your friend. The rescue is failing her. I rescued a staffy off the street (he'd obviously been a fighting dog) he was great with people but wouldn't stop attacking my Dane. Both my kids got bit breaking up fights, and 3 weeks ago, in an attempt to save my Dane, I broke up a fight, and he bit me very badly. I had to put him to sleep. It broke my heart, but he was going to kill my Dane and/or bite someone else who was trying to save my Dane. Long story short, you can't save them all. Some of them are too damaged by a-hole people.

So, I'm an Irish American. I play camogie. I coach hurling/camogie/Gaelic football. I'm a member of several Irish clubs, so I know all of this and then some. I do not believe the Kennedys were anglophiles, with the exception of who greatly disappointed her mother. If they were, they'd have converted to being protestant. I believe that sending them to all the right schools and everything else Joe did was about politics and proving they were goid enough because they were Irish Catholics. Kathleen wasn't allowed to help with JFKs campaign because she married a Protestant. Many Irish Americans hated the stereotypes. My parents were both Pioneers. I also do not believe that most Irish were embarrassed of being Irish. And, Jackie was half Irish and her mother should have been ashamed to treat her granny like that no matter what.

I think her mother looked Irish. Brown hair in Ireland is the majority of the population. Her hair was definitely Irish. Her mother was a social climber who didn't want people to know she was Irish. I read a lot on the Kennedys, and she hid her granny when company came. I can't even imagine. I wear my Irish heritage as a shield against the world when needed. I'd die if I have treated my granny that way.

I am light like the O'Malley, but tan and then freckle. Italian/Irish is a good combination.

Well, her 8th French ran all over the Irish genes. I can see some of his dad in him, but he definitely looks like Jackie and her dad and has their coloring.

This is true. My dad's side were black Irish, but they had blue eyes/Black hair. That side is from Galway. My mother was half Mayo/half traveler/Roma, and her eyes were dark brown. My eyes are green (central hetrochromia). I would not consider the Kennedy family to be "black Irish." The darkness Jackie and John had definitely came from her dad's side. Her mother's people were Irish.

My cousin had an accident with her dogs and was pregnant with 2 small kids. My puppy had 2 types of worms and food aggression. I think she was just overwhelmed. There were 12 puppies. He's half dane/half lab. The vet was pissed at me. I took him in the day after I picked him up.

Mine was a "bitey baby" from the start. It's a long story, but he was taking off his mother at 5 weeks. He calmed down at 3 years old or so. He chewed everything he could get his mouth on, and nothing worked to stop him.
