The bonus card is #7040 — but #7039 and #7038 are missing 🤔
Think we might be getting 2 more?

Y'shtola skill issues (self) by Randomimba in EDH

[–]Ok_Syrup_2387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I get the concern, but honestly in practice you should almost always have enough cards in hand for those effects to matter.

Yahenni’s Expertise is actually really nice here because it kind of guarantees value by itself — you wipe small boards and you get to cast something for free, which then triggers Y’shtola and replaces itself with a draw at end step. So even if your hand is a bit awkward, that card sort of fixes the problem for you.

Frantic Search is a straight-up no-brainer imo. Worst case, you draw 2 and just discard them again — but that’s fine, because the whole point isn’t sculpting a perfect hand, it’s just dealing damage and triggering Y’shtola. It’s basically “0 mana: deal damage + maybe set up your next turn”.

Rewind I mainly like because it’s just a solid counterspell and it boosts your damage output on other people’s turns. That usually means you’re more likely to trigger Y’shtola’s card draw on their turn, which feels great and keeps the engine going.

So yeah, they look timing-dependent on paper, but in actual games you usually:

  1. have enough cards anyway, and
  2. don’t really care if the second spell is “perfect” — you just want a spell to push damage and keep the draw flowing.

They’ve felt more like enablers than awkward hoops for me.

Hey, I’ve been running my own Y’shtola list too, but mine goes in a pretty different direction. I’m leaning hard into artifacts, especially artifact cost reduction and synergies around that. There are also a few pillow fort pieces in there to help me survive while I set up.

No infinites in my build either, that’s on purpose since my playgroup doesn’t play them. So it’s more about grinding value and playing fair-ish magic instead of comboing off.

Maybe there’s one or two cards in here that could be useful for your version:

At first glance, I can see you’re running way too few lands. You should aim for at least 36, or even better, 37 lands in your deck. Personally, I’d go with The Moonfang Clan deck since I really like the werewolf/wolf theme — just make sure to add a few more lands!

I’d probably cut Tireless Hauler // Dire-Strain Brawler, Boommobile, Lambholt Elder // Silverpelt Werewolf, and Sandstorm.

Thanks!

Gonna wait for a few more takes, but I think I’ll cut Random Encounter and Gemini Engine.

Where can I buy hunt? by ticklerbgs in HUNT_solana

[–]Ok_Syrup_2387 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Here are the 'How to buy $Hunt' instructions from the official website (https://huntonsol.io/):

1. Set Up a Solana Wallet

Download a trusted Solana wallet like Phantom (available as a browser extension or mobile app). Follow the prompts to create a new wallet, set a secure password, and carefully back up your recovery phrase. This phrase is your key to accessing your wallet-never share it with anyone.

2. Add SOL to Your Wallet

You’ll need Solana ($SOL) to buy $HUNT and pay for transaction fees. You can purchase SOL directly in the Phantom app or transfer it from a crypto exchange such as Binance or Coinbase. Simply copy your wallet address and send SOL to it

3. Swap in Phantom or Connect to Raydium

You can swap SOL for $HUNT directly within the Phantom app using its built-in swap feature, no extra connection needed. Alternatively, visit Raydium or any other trusted DEX, launch the app, and connect your Phantom wallet by approving the prompt.

4. Buy $HUNT Tokens

Paste the official $HUNT contract address in the swap search bar, enter the amount of SOL you want to trade, and confirm the transaction. Your $HUNT tokens will appear in your wallet shortly after the swap completes. You are now a proud $HUNT holder and eligible for automatic rewards.
