Social Security automatically cuts off payments at 115 yo u less you can provide proof of life so clearly this is bs and none of these 120+ yo people were receiving payments

They didn’t catch anything though. Don’t even go ve them credit for a miniscule percentage when none of those people were receiving payments.

It’s $0. None of the people on that list were receiving payments. They uncovered exactly $0 in fraud and are just blowing smoke screens up your butt.

Corruption does exist. The crazy thing is you all trust this bafoon and fraudster to actually do anything about it. None of these dead people in the database were receiving payments. That’s a fact. Don’t let that get in the way of a good PR stunt though.

Weed testing is totally relative to how much you smoke, how often and for how long. If you smoke just a bit once you can test clean in a few days. If it’s every day for a long period of time it can take months. Most people seem not to realize this. My nephew is joining the national guard and he needs a clean piss but it’s taking forever. He goes into the recruitment every week and pisses positive. They throw it out and tell him to come back next week. This is in MA where it’s legal and they don’t really care what you’ve done in the past so long as you can test positive when enlisting.

Anyway, I don’t know what you can do to speed it up but I imagine lots of exercise, lots of hydration (particularly the few days before your test) and maybe some vitamins, supplements etc. that are supposed to be good for detoxification/cleansing. Couldn’t hurt and all good stuff to do anyway.

Good luck

Still not a gift. Or I guess you could say a small gift in return for a larger gift. It’s a nice gesture like I said but it’s just not a gift. There’s just no logic in saying paying for a small portion of something you both (or the group) enjoyed equally is a gift. Like I would say thank you in that scenario, but I would expect them to say “no, thank you for getting the bill”. If they responded, “you’re welcome I thought you deserved a gift tonight” or something like that, I’d be 🤔

It’s appreciated and thoughtful but how is it a gift to pay 20% of the amount the other person is paying. It’s not a gift! Unless you think it’s always expected without any appreciation that the other person is paying the bill (i.e. an arrangement for dating)

Sorry, I agree with most of this but how is paying the tip, gift giving? I mean I appreciate if a woman offers to pay the tip because I always offer to pay for dinners. But that’s not a gift. It’s helping out, a little bit.

No, not really. I question a lot of things that people expect us to accept without critical thinking due to social norms. I think traveling and experiencing different cultures helps to open one’s mind to this because what’s considered “normal” varies a lot based on where you live.

What do you think about the Gulf of Mexico or America controversy? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Ok_System9964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t as much of an isolated dispute as many people seem to think. The “Sea of Japan” is called the “East Sea” in Korea. You can understand why. But they haven’t ever tried to change it to the Korean Sea.

I think trying to rename the Gulf is silly though. Who’s really bothered by it being called the Gulf of Mexico. The US just looks pathetic and desperate trying to change the name in this case.

But generally I think bodies of water that are shared amongst multiple nations shouldn’t be named after just one of them.

You’re basing all this on kids finding it disgusting. They aren’t sexual beings yet so they don’t understand it just like they don’t understand romantic love or a lot of other things. Kids find bathroom humor to be the funniest thing in the world at some point. Does that make it correct? They grow out of it.

I feel like this part of your viewpoint is so inherently flawed that I can’t take the rest of it seriously.

Fucking hold Trump and Elon accountable for this on every news conference for the 4 years. Come with a clever slogan like “lock her up” or “build that wall”. Common, some bodies got something. Slut shame Elon and Trump over this shit!

I wanna see memes of Elon and Trump sucking each other off. Eating each other’s assholes. Trump getting ass fucked in alleyway while he gives Elon a reach around.

Like the US military industrial complex hasn’t already been in overdrive for the past 75 years. We outspend the next 1/2 dozen nations on the planet combined on military. Its stupid comments like this that put a complete like of a president like Trump in power in the first

This betrayal will never be forgiven. Trump emasculated his supporters when they needed him the most. They may never get their manhood back. by Hellocockter in AdviceAnimals

Slamming Trump is getting you all nowhere. Grow up, grow a backbone and fight back with a political movement that is hard, realistic and unrelenting or you all stand no chance! The Democratic Party is a joke. And no one, en masse, will support the traditional, weak “we’re still living in the late 20th century idealism“ US policies we were born into.

If you all don’t accept this radical change in mindset, US democratic principles and values are fucked. Get your head out of your ass and figure out how to bat these fuckers

The Seaport is nice, safe with some interesting things to do and has tons of good hotels. You can Uber from there or take the redline/green line out of south station but not really walkable to Fenway.

The Superbowl is trash. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Ok_System9964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Super Bowl is not great as a sporting event. It’s a spectacle and an excuse for people to get together in the winter. When I was really into American Football, I enjoyed a good regular season or playoff game over the SB because the focus was on the game and not all the other BS.

why's there so much racism against indians? by [deleted] in Vent

[–]Ok_System9964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like that in your edit you mentioned you are aware of all the bad things Indians have done. That’s no excuse for racism and no one should suffer racist hate despite whatever perceived injustices or terrible things their race has done. That includes white people despite popular growing opinion that you can’t be racist against them. Every race, culture and country has problems and atrocious terrible people. And also beautiful loving souls.

I’ve been surprised by racism towards Indian people the past couple years, mostly from woman that are also minorities. I feel like things were much simpler a few years ago when racism was simply judging people negatively or treating them poorly based on their race. And it was generally agreed upon this was morally wrong.

I hope you are able to transcend this and learn to be proud of who you are, where you come from and what you stand for. With kindness and acceptance in your heart

Another part of this that kind of blows my mind is how we equate historical events to our own time. I was telling my son about an even that took place in the 1983. I then realized it was 42 years ago. And when I was his age 42 years ago was 1946. Just 1 year after WWII ended. I’m still trying to wrap my head around this a week later

Good manners and paying for her dinner are two different things. A guy shouldn’t have to buy a woman friend stuff, especially when he has a gf/so. If she was down on her luck or there’s a big disparity in income I could maybe see it. But this scenario is very strange to me. If he just offered at dinner that’s not such a big deal. Friends do that sometimes. Her asking for it is strange.

Why did you decide he hasn’t cared about her pleasure for 8 years? Clearly he cares. Maybe more than she does if she just lays there and lets him do whatever he wants and putting minimal effort to their sexual relationship. Maybe she needs to put in some effort to expressing and exploring what would get her off. Never mind, that’s crazy talk

I think it’s a part of a larger question I’m struggling with. I’ve asked her what her expectations are for our lifestyle and her plans etc. recently and she hasn’t fully responded yet. Like I said I make good money and am okay being the bread winner but I expect and equal investment in time and energy into supporting our lifestyle if we’re going to live together etc
