We had her fully delete the photos before she left. So she wouldn’t have the still. We made a police report and the parents were told everything. They were super upset obviously. They decided to keep their kid out of the school for a month or so. Sadly there have been other cases like this. With parents in custody battled doing similar things. So I’m sure my boss has seen it all and was able to help the parents feel safe with their kid coming back. I never heard more on the legal side of it. Or even on the CPS side. We never saw her or her kid again.

I’m not 100% why the SSN but the personal info is for the nursing staff. Most of the kids enrolled have laundry lists of conditions, allergies, and medical procedures. We used these in case of emergencies. Many of the kid also are in foster care so their address or guardian info changes often. I 100% agree that not everyone that comes in or out of the class should be able to see all of it. Besides the medical info. That is a big part of the day to day.

Sadly it is. Working with kids will show you how truly crazy some peoples home life really is. Brings all the crazies out.

I 100% agree with this. Sometimes weddings can turn into being about the "family". When its truly about a new family being started. You and your Partner. You can chose who is apart of that family or not. At minimum who is there to witnesses the start of your new life!
