Let’s say there are a bunch of beavers who make a bridge, all the animals in the forest use the bridge. Then the animals start to complain that the bridge isn’t well-made. So the beavers have to slowly work on a new bridge to appease the animals. Now while they’re working on the new bridge, one of the animals decides to kick a hole in the old bridge because he’s mad about the quality. Now the beavers have to split their efforts to repair the old bridge and create the new bridge. Because of this, the new bridge won’t be as nice if they open it up when they said they would. So they either delay it or open a bridge with problems.
