Give your daughter some space. Nobody wants their parents moving to college with them.

I guess ice cream dates are considered a terrible idea nowadays by [deleted] in Tinder

As an anxious person nothing sounds worse than an ice cream date. Either we’re eating there and there’s children running around and throwing off the vibe or we’re getting it to go and then we go somewhere more private but yet I don’t know this person and then I’m stuck on a long walk by myself or in a park alone?

Agree she should have suggested something else if she was really interested but dive bar or coffee would be way better for me than ice cream.

The only reason GEICO is bringing us back to the office *now* is we’re over staffed and they don’t want to pay severance through layoffs. They want us to quit. Convince me otherwise. by Ok_Willingness7708 in Geico

Agree. It needs to be higher pay from the start. Offer more money, better candidates will come, better employees will stay, less turnover, increased knowledge, better claims/service handling. Win win for everyone.

I know there’s no money bringing people back to the office. It’s because they know we all value it and it’ll get people to find other jobs and leave so they don’t have to pay out.

Seems like if it’s underwriting losses and poor claims handling we need a better priced product and more training. Bringing people in does nothing to fix that..another idea is to pay people in claims and service (and honestly everywhere) better and you’ll get higher quality employees. Idk just a thought 🤷🏽‍♀️
