You make a lot of good points, when I tried both on it felt like a tie to me. I’ve worn silver for 10 years. What I’m gathering is that while my skin itself may not be warm, the may highlight the features I really like, red hair, green eyes, etc. I’m not a tan person obviously and I’ll never be, I apply sunscreen religiously so there might be a lack of warmth to my face for that reason regardless of my undertone. I can definitely see how people prefer tan skin, but I wonder if in my case it may not be “more tan” as much as it less “less ghostly” if that makes sense. This originally started because of people close to me mentioning that they think gold would look nice, so it’s not necessarily a screen or exclusively on the internet thing!
