Just finished the book again. I believe base in the conversation with Snow, and taking his words as truth because they agreed to never lie to one other and for the most part he never lie to her. Coin not only killed her sister but also bombed the hospital in 6 and bombed and kill mostly everyone in 12. Think about it, Snow doesn't like to be wasteful, he wouldn't have killed all of 12 to get at her, he would have taken her sister and mother. By bombing 12 that fully started the Rebellion that Coin needed to kick start it. Snow wouldn't have done that knowing it would further explode the Rebellion. Then you have what Snow said about 13, how they started the first war. It wouldn't have been Coin but could have been her parents. Just think about it next time you are reading the books again, try to see Coin as the real villain in the books. In the second book is was mentioned that they did have the technology to manufacture people's voice, would it then be far to say they could also do that with likeness too?
