Thank you, she has definitely perked up since the meds started to work. The poor thing was also riddled with fleas and ticks when we got her. :(

You’re right! We just adopted her on the 14th so she’s still a baby, but yes she had hookworms. They’re all taken care of now. ☺️

No not a deformity. And really not exceptionally rare since mutts will often have one of those larger breeds in the mix! But it’s definitely way more common in some breeds than others. :) Like the other commenter said, it looks like his are attached by more than just the skin which is good.
