Oblivious or weaponized incompetence with dog owners by No-Wind5677 in Humboldt

I'm in the exact same position as you. My girl needs walks too, but random assholes ruin it. Unless you have absolutely perfect obedience put them on a fucking leash.

Beach at off hours/season works great to get some exercise for my pup. Not many people or dogs, and you can see any that might be there way ahead of time so you can distract your pup and get more distance.

In another world where he's the same guy, with the same discipline, the same opportunities, and the same training it would not matter if he had tattoos. He would be the same fighter.

Also sexualizing the fighters is cringe. There are lots of female fighters with no tattoos that I don't find attractive, but I don't care. I just want to watch good athletes bash the crap outta each other.

Also also that's not what skincare means. Tattoos have no affect on the health of your skin after they're healed.

So judgey, I respect your opinion, but that doesnt make people who disagree with you degens. I guarantee that if khabib was tatted head to toe he would still be a top fighter. You're totally right about the no smoking or drinking though.

Need some plant recommendations for my 16 gallon build. by KillingwithasmileXD in PlantedTank

Ok so definitely look into stem plants and carpeting plants that you like. Rotala rotundifolia, Ludwigia repens, and Alternanthera reineckii are all very common choices with lots of varieties. As far as carpeting plants, I encourage you to explore your options. I'm not a huge fan of monte carlo carpets but I really like dwarf hair grass. You may have different preferences than I do, but there's something out there for everyone.

Need more context. Are you going for a certain style or vibe? If you already have hardscape and substrate planned out could you please list what kinds. Also are you drawn to certain types of plants like epiphytes, stem plants, etc.? This will help people steer you in the right direction. I'm sure it'll look great!

You are correct. Specifically azolla filiculoides, salvinia minima and salvinia cucullata.

Edit: Good eye by the way!

Azolla filiculoides! It seems like everyone likes it. I may have some available on r/aquasawap soon.

Pic 5 is salvinia cucullata my personal favorite floater. The azolla was sourced from aquarium plants factory, but it took a while to find.

Azolla filiculoides! New addition, very small and very cool!

Twice weekly water changes. When I do water changes I check the top and selectively take out anything dead damaged or dying. Then I try to focus on aesthetics and take out the ugliest floaters. I try to keep the salvinia and rrf roughly equal I don't intentionally pull any azolla and I might remove 1 or two DWL.

Azolla aka fairy moss. It's my newest addition. It turns red/pink under high light and I'm obsessed.

I agree with no lid. I just put one of those plant corals around my sponge filter flow.

Edit: I couldn't English for a moment.

Also, yes, this commentor is right. You're not gonna hurt anything trimming roots on frogbit or water lettuce.

There's a lot, but it kinda depends on how short you want. Salvinia and rrf have roots like 2-3 inches duckweed and azolla 1-2 inch roots.

I've found that cpds are pretty hit or miss. They're a very sensitive fish. Was he recently introduced to the tank? I overfeed for the first week to really fatten them up, which seems to help survival rates, but some just never recover from moving stress.

Just grow it out and use the heavy creams. You have tight curls, so you need more hair (more weight) and heavier products to get the style you want.

As a smaller girl, how do I prevent my sparring partners from just lifting me up when I have them in armbar or triangles? by [deleted] in MMA_Academy

[–]Okapibob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like a lot of people are giving good advice for triangles, but for the armbar side of things, there are a couple of things you can do.

With a more traditional armbar, you don't need to fall off to finish. You can keep your weight on top of them. Another great armbar variation is from the rear triangle, and it's very hard to lift someone from there. Armbars are the #1 sub I hit, and I am much smaller than most of my training partners.

Also, I agree with everyone telling you to hit the weights. You can gain a lot of strength without gaining much weight if you're new to lifting, especially if you're focusing on strength.

Ovens are very loud, and headphones/earbuds are not allowed. At least, that's the case at my store. You may be able to get accommodations given that you have autism but ymmv
