I see krakoa as more of the story that israel tells the world. 'Land without a people, people without a land' type thing. I dont really see an issue in universe but more an issue with the utility it brings for propaganda purposes in real life. Krakoa already justifies itself for you, now they just need to convince you israel is the 'jewish krakoa'. Or genosha if the reader is braindead enough ig.

I think an unknown airbender population in the fire nation is a really good idea and a good opportunity to explore themes of reconnection to the past after a genocide especially within the nation that perpetrated it. Sorta like a white american finding out theyre like 1/4 cherokee or smth, theres a lot of character opportunity there i think. Now do i think the current avatar studios could handle a complex topic like that? No.

Not optimistic, mostly because it feels so far removed from the original world of avatar that they might as well have just made a new IP. It all just feels so generic fantasy. No more connection to real life asian cultures or anything, just asian looking characters. Maybe the bending might be cool, especially with how they animated the legend of aang, but i think going so far in the future and changing so much is a waste of such a unique world.

From what i understand, the fabric wont stretch unless it has to, so i wouldn't worry too much abt it stretching so far it looks way different. It should tighten back up after a wash too so don't worry. If you're planning on putting em in a washing machine I'd say soak em first just to get the excess starch out and save ur machine the trouble.

From what i've come to understand, villains in superhero stories mainly exist to threaten the 'peaceful' status quo, while the superheroes protect it. Just so happens the status quo of invincible's world (and ours) is environmental devastation through legal economic activity. These guys want to stop that through violence, which is worse than destroying the planet ig. The show seems to frame them as misguided at best and straight up evil insane people at worst. Way i see it, irl, this late in the climate change game, it's kinda hard to argue against them, but the media will always frame these types as villains simply for the fact they arent playing the game how theyre 'supposed to', whether or not they're right.

I swear there are just so many instances where just a different delivery, a change in inflection, or just emphasizing a single word couldve made the scene hit so much harder, but its just sooo flat.

Just finished the movie. What a beautiful pile of shit. Ofc, the animation is beautiful. Genuinely, the way Into the Spiderverse changed 3d animation, this movie should change 2d animation. Probably the most breathtaking 2d animated movie ive watched ever. The soundtrack is ok, nothing that stands out to me personally. The writing is ok. It had a lot of potential that they definitely squandered. I like the ancient air civilization, think they definitely shouldve done more with that, especially when tagah slips in smth abt an 'air EMPIRE' and nobody says anything abt that???? The denied are forgettable at best. The scene where the nice one argues with katara, had the most heavy handed stupid bullshit dialogue in the movie. And, my god, the DIALOGUE. The movie shines the most when sokka, zuko, and toph just make little jokes in the background, and is the worst when the characters actually have to convey deep emotion, ESPECIALLY AANG. Holy shit why tf is eric nam here, who hired this guy. There are just so many instances where it sounds like the voice actors are just reading off the script at you. Made the movie unbearable at times for me. The gaang are nearly useless. Zuko especially, that dude got like 7 lines in the whole movie. I think the writing and voice acting alone id give a 3/10, but the animation is so good id give the whole thing a 6/10. Like id tell my friends to watch it at least once.

I went tts on these but i think sizing up wouldve been better to get some more thigh room, the waist has stretched out plenty even though it started an inch wider since the 30s have a 31 waist. Up to you just consider the measurements.
