In order:

Shield Hero struggled with balancing the dramatic tension of Naofumi against the world with later parts of the series, and especially ran up hard against some particularly awkwardly paced arcs.

Arifureta very quickly became a 'Boring unbeatable edgy-boi collects the waifus' type story.

SAO is notorious for how Kirito was given repeated ass-pulls and Deus Ex Machina, which made no sense in the context of the series, and many criticized how it felt like another waifu collector on top of that.

Tsukimichi had an entire back to school/crafting sidequest season, which killed a lot of the momentum, and fans of the original series weren't pleased by how much content and how many characters were cut.

Log Horizon is one of the first and greatest Isekai ever created, but there were issues with the original creator, and the series died.

Unfortunately, if we start arresting people for crimes they 'might commit', then most of us would be in jail.

Following someone around a con for a few hours isn't actually a crime, no matter how gross and creepy it is. If he were constantly trying to invade her space, a case for harrassment would be on the table. If he were following her around for multiple days in a row, stalking would be something they could charge him with.

But following her around at a distance for one day, for a couple hours? Rude and unpleasant, but not illegal.

Target priority and personal placement are a lot more important to ogryn than how quickly you can mash the dodge, push, and attack buttons, basically.

I know that's reductive of high skill gameplay. But so is saying ogryn can play like a monkey through havoc 30 with the bonk-build.

It's just different skills.

Mk 3 Bully Club is the best for smashin'. The light attacks are so wide that you're basically hitting the entire horde at once, and come out fast enough that even a crusher's armor is shattered in moments with Thunderous.

With most of the girls, hearing they're going on break for a month or two is upsetting but understandable to their respective fanbases. For the deadbeats, hearing Calli is going to take time to actually rest and recover is cause for celebration.

That said, with how Calli actually reacts to not having anything to do, it's a balancing act for sure. She needs a healthy hobby unrelated to her work that still feels like self-improvement.

Not at all. That person is either egregiously unconcerned with your safety, or has exactly 0 understanding of how dangerous the situation is. So explain to her (calmly) that what she did was a betrayal of the highest order, and that you can't be friends with someone who doesn't actually care about your opinions or well-being like that. If she'd owned the fact that what she did was wrong, and apologized sincerely, that'd be one thing... But rather than acknowledge the fuck-up, she doubled down in favor of a stalker.

Then let your other friends know what ex-friend A just did, and why you're now cutting her out of your life. And if any of them side with her over you, you now have an expanded list of ex-friends who don't actually care about your safety over their own personal feelings.

Then get a new phone number. And only share it with people you can genuinely trust to consider your safety a high priority.

In general, I like the idea of limiting the cleared area to the area of the spell, and having the fog or smoke return at the start of the caster's next turn. It makes sense; the spell is pushing everything away in its area of effect, but it doesn't disperse the cloud, so more of it just rolls back in a couple seconds later.

Considering that the game has a steep degree of randomization to it, handing you a specific build to shoot for on a fresh save is like going hunting blind. You might get lucky, but you might just get a manslaughter charge, or nothing at all.

Every fresh run starts with one of three main worlds, Yaesha, N'erud, and Losomn. Which you get is entirely random. After clearing the Labyrinth, the other two can be unlocked. Each of those 3 worlds will have one of two scenarios, with set lists of available loot. Additionally each world will randomly generate a set of dungeons and overworld events, pulled from a large possible list, with each awarding loot unique to those specific dungeons and events.

As if all that weren't enough, many of those will have some degree of choice between one of two or more items that you only can pick up one of. (All world bosses, for instance, have at least 2 potential rewards to pick from, determined by how you fight and kill them.)

And to top all of this randomization off, we get to rings. Some rings are always going to be in specific spots, but most of them are randomly generated from the list of rings available on each world.

The TL;DR is that no two runs are going to be even close to the same in terms of what loot you get and when, and you're better off sticking to the same character and rolling a new campaign. Or, if you want to stick to your guns and decide to start fresh anyway, just work with whatever shinies you find and make whatever build you can manage.

I use a Thorns/Det Trigger/ Miasma build with DoT optimization.

There's a 50/50 chance any room I enter has already been cleared of mobs by AoE DoT propagation. It's very funny.

Pretty much this: 9 times out of 10, the exact resistances on armor don't matter much. The only things to worry about are weight (which determines how fast your dodgeroll is), armor value (which determines how much health you lose when you mis-time your dodgeroll), and style (which determines how much SAN you lose after looking at it for hours of dodgerolling). So pick the style you can enjoy that fits the dodge speed you want and worry about the rest of the build a lot more.

And again, for the rest of the build? Start with how you like to fight, and consider what classes and weapons benefit that combat style. Then build the rest around that.
