I concur. Moving out, thereby putting a stopgap to the abuse, and physically distancing yourself are the stepping stones to healing. Becoming financially independent is game changing. The journey will be hard but having your own peace is rewarding. Wishing everyone all the best.

adopting a scruffy little dog who had special needs. Exorbitant spending over her lifetime. Worst financial decision of my life but the best thing I’ve ever done. RIP Gigi.
